VB.Net Sample Projects Available
Included in the installation of Kickstart are 3 sample script projects that generate working VB.Net applications. Based on the Microsoft Northwinds database, these projects will provide an excellent starting point for any application. The first sample is a project utilizing a single form per table. All data access code is integrated within the form code. The second sample enhances the first by providing a mdiParent form to aid in record navigation. It also demonstrates the concept of form interfacing, useful in implementing communications between the mdiParent form and its children. The third sample adds data objects to the mdiParent project making it a scaleable 3 tier database application. ASP.Net sample projects are scheduled for release later next month.

The Kickstart file comparison tool enables you to view the differences between previously generated source code. Now you can make changes to Kickstart script files, generate applications using the scripts, and compare the results with previous code or with an original file. The comparison tool is customizable and you can set bookmarks for easier navigation between points in the files.
